About Schea

Pro Career Highlights: 



Has played in the former Yugoslavia, France, Venezuela, and domestically. Played with the Pennsylvania Valley Dawgs in the USBL in the summer of 2005, averaging 5.3 points and 1.8 with Cocodrilos de Caracas in Venezuela, averaging 17.9 points and 2.1 rebounds in 13 games. Also played with the Cedar River Raiders in the USBL, averaging 16 points in two games. Spent the 2003-04 season in the ABA with the Long Beach Jam (statistics unavailable). Started the summer of 2003 with Leneros de Los Mina in the Dominican Republic before moving on to the Texas Rim  Rockers in the USBL, averaging 1.3 points in three games. Appeared in two games for Evreaux in the French ProB League in 2002-03, averaging 17 points and 5.0 rebounds. Played in 14 games with Brest in the France ProB League in 2001-02, averaging 27.5 points and 6.9 rebounds in 14 games. Played with Partizan Beograd in the former Yugoslavia in 2000-01, averaging 2.3 points in eight regular season games and 7.4 points and 2.8 rebounds five Suproleague games. An early entry candidate for the 2000 NBA Draft, but was not selected.



College Highlights:



Earned Second Team All-SEC honors from the Associated Press as a sophmore. Played one season each at Long Beach City College in California and the University of Alabama.



Sophomore (1999-00)



Led team in scoring (15.5 ppg). Started 20 and 27 games. Averaged 17.2 points in conference games (ranked fourth in the SEC).  Scored 20 or more points eight times, registering a career-high 34 points at Mississippi State. Tallied 29 points and nine rebounds vs. Ole Miss. Posted a double-douuble of 24 points and season-high 11 rebounds vs. Arkansas. Scored 21 points vs LSU. Scored 21 points and grabbed nine rebounds at Louisville.



Freshman (1998-99)



At Long Beach City College, averaged 25.8 points and 5.8 rebounds. Scored 30 or more points seven times. Helped lead team to a 33-3 record and earned All-Star honors.

Schea Cotton is "THE BASKETBALL GURU."


He had one of the greatest prep careers of all time. Earning California State High School Player of the year as a sophmore at Mater Dei High School.  Becoming the only player to reach MVP status as a sophmore in California Rich High School History.

All American and All- SEC performer at the University of Alabama. Schea has 10 years Pro Basketball Experience playing in the Euro league and 8 other countries and a brief stint as a Harlem Globtrotter.

Scheas' success as a player combined with personal relationship with his young players (clients) grassroot coaches and Divisional 1  coaches gives his students a much greater chance of getting to the next level.

In the mid-90s, Schea Cotton was considered the greatest high school
player in the nation.
At the age of 14 he was considered a cant miss NBA superstar, he was profiled in Sports Illustrated by age 15.
